About Dashen

I'm a South African born teacher and writer, and a native English speaker. I've been teaching English for 14 years guided by the power that imagination and inclusion can build. I believe a better world begins with better words. I'm here to help you better yours. My qualifications include a Master's degree in English, and a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University.

About the lesson

I offer one on one hour-long lessons for people looking to improve their English proficiency. I offer a balanced blend of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

I use my learnings from my Master's degree in English studies, CELTA (TEFL qualification), and 14 years teaching experience to share the foundations you need to succeed.

I have taught students at all levels from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). I have prepared students for numerous English language tests including Cambridge A Levels, SATs, IELTS and STANAG 6001.

My teaching style works by knowing and understanding your learning style and your specific strengths and needs. With that, I develop a plan for how best we can succeed in attaining your goals.
