About Daniel
I studied classic percussion at the La Plata city Conservatory with the master Ernesto Ringer (Colon theater percussionist). I studied drums with the master Horacio Gianello and Hindu percussion (tabla) with the master Sanjay Badhoriya and Armony with the master Horacio Moscovici.
I have been a percussion teacher for thirty years and I have trained dozens of students, some of whom followed the professional path, others do it as an artistic manifestation
and others as amateurs. But in any way you do your study you have to do it well and that leads to a dedicated study because if not, you don't learn. The person who says that he wants to play and does not say that he wants to study is going to be a bad student because he only wants the pleasure of playing and playing an instrument well. It requires a sacrifice on his part to reach his goal. The person who says He wants to learn, without thinking He becomes an excellent playert because He is excited about

The study of Tabla includes:
oral Hindu teaching system through honomatopoeia called solkatu or konakol.
Different types of sounds.
Pitch changes.
binary, ternary and odd rhythms.
Ways to sit.
Talas: Teental, Dadra, Roopak, Ektal, Jhaptal. Tihail: Dhamdar, Bedamdar, Anaghat. Tihail: Chakradam, Farmashi-Chakradam. Kaidas, Tukras, Kism, Peskar, Laki, Gat Tukra, Mukra, Param.
KONNAKOL: vocal percussion from South India.
Konnakol consists of the vocal interpretation of syllables with a percussive focus, as each syllable represents a timbre or sound of a drum or percussion instrument (mridangam, ghatam, kanjira, tabla, etc.). This art is comparable to the bol of Hindustani classical music from North India. This system transmits rhythmic patterns that can be applied to different rhythmic percussion instruments; there are fixed compositions, and it is also used to improvise over an established backing track.
