About Abbie
I am a qualified Computer Science teacher with a degree in Computer Forensics and Security, giving me a strong academic background in areas such as cybersecurity, computer systems, and digital investigations. I am passionate about helping students understand how technology works and supporting them in developing confidence in Computer Science.
Alongside my degree, I currently teach Computer Science to secondary school students across KS3 and GCSE, and I also have experience teaching KS5 BTEC IT. I have worked with students of different abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs, and I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding step by step.

I am a qualified Computer Science teacher with experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 students, including pupils with Special Educational Needs. I offer one-to-two hour lessons for students aged 11–18, tailored to their individual needs, whether they are looking to build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, or prepare for exams.
I have particular experience supporting students studying OCR GCSE Computer Science, with a focus on Paper 1 (Computer Systems) topics such as systems architecture, memory and storage, networks, cybersecurity, and ethical and legal issues. My lessons break down complex concepts into clear explanations and include practice with exam-style questions to help students feel confident and improve their performance.
