About Hannah
Hello! I’m Hannah, I currently work at the University of Oxford as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow working on regions of low oxygen within tumours.
I hold the following qualifications:
PhD Oncology (Cancer Biology)
M.Med.Sci in Clinical Embryology
BSc(Hons) in Human Biology.
I have several years experience offering private tuition, teaching and supervising students in Higher Education (undergraduate and masters level), A Level and GCSE. I have a real passion for science public outreach and take every opportunity to teach the public about what we do in cancer research and encourage children to take up careers in science.
I offer the following private tuition services;

My teaching method is whatever works best for you! Normally the content of my lessons involve a lot of drawing, interactive quizzing, discussion and quick fire memory tests. All sorts really! I find the best way to really learn things is to practice things in different modalities; for example if you can explain a concept back to me, answer questions on it and you are able to physically draw the concept, it sticks in your brain much better than just re-reading information over and over again or re-writing the same information.
