About Olivia
I am new to tutoring - but not to the school exam set up. At college I often found myself explaining English literary concepts to peers, but have had no formal experience in tutoring myself. Having come out of college with an A* in English Literature at A-Level and an A in Spanish I feel that I can offer that much needed extra support. I am continuing studying Spanish at LSE in addition to my Art History degree at the Courtauld Institute. Having studied hard at college and got into one of (if not the) top institution to read my subject, I am well aware of the necessity to work, and also the rewards that it offers - I would love to be able to help someone get somewhere they want to be, and opportunity given to me and one that I am so thankful for.

Having just come out of college, the horrors of revision and exam technique are still fresh! Whilst I may not have the formal qualifications of a professional tutor I do have the recent exam experience, and the enthusiasm for English and Spanish to provide support at GCSE level. Having recently been a school student, I would model my sessions of what I personally found the most helpful set-up, a relaxed talk that covers the necessary mark-scheme requirements and to talk more broadly on the subject - something that I found instrumental in fully comprehending the topic.
