About Leo
I am currently studying a philosophy degree having just completed a gap year where I worked at a secondary school as a TA and held small science and maths classes for struggling children. I completed my A levels in 2021 which Included Chemistry and physics, I competed the triple award for science and during my A levels I completed an Engineering Education Scheme and held a science help hub at my school where I was able to communicate scientific and mathematical concepts from GCSE to help students pass their mocks.

I first deduce which topics a student is struggling with at which point I explain the concept to them in a more digestible manner including all the relevant points. I believe practice is so important so I then go through some questions ,that I make, with the student and help them understand each step, after this I allow the student to attempt the question on their own and once they are confident I provide an exam question to go through. If the student is still struggling with the concept or application we run through again and target exactly what they struggle with. At the beginning of each session I usually provide a random selection of quick questions to solidify the knowledge from previous sessions and to gauge what topics they struggle with.

Perfect! He's very great. A very friendly tutor who is amazing at explaining things in a way that can be understood. He also shapes his teaching around your weakest areas so you are able to improve your grades much faster. Amazing teacher!!!
