About Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel and I am from Ireland. I am currently a first year student in Dublin City University studying Applied Languages and Translation Studies. The two languages I am studying are French and Japanese. I acquired my love for language learning when I started learning French in secondary school seven years ago. Ever since, I have been highly motivated to advance French and also start learning other languages. In summer of 2020 I completed a 120 TEFL certificate and have been looking for a way to use the information that learned in this course. I am interested in getting to know my clients on a personal level, as well as their cultures.

The approach of my lessons will be focused on utilizing the strengths and weaknesses of the student, and naturally progressing the students speaking skills through natural conversation. I can also create lesson plans in advance on certain grammar points of linguistic concepts that cause trouble. Ideally the typical lesson length will range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, in order that I can spend time with the student and get to know them, and be familiar with their English abilities. At present, I have no tutoring experience, but with my time in college, learning both French and Japanese, I believe that I will be able to help students with learning English efficiently. I hope to be able to mold my lessons to my students needs and include aspects of the students culture as to familiarize them with the concepts.
