I am a student who has recently graduated from Kearsney College (One of the best performing private schools in South Africa) with a final mark of 84% for English. I am moving to Australia later in the year to study at the University Of Queensland.

I will hope to avoid strict authoritarian techniques whereby teachers strictly lecture students on the meaning of texts and poetic techniques, but will rather aim to teach students simply how to accurately convey and justify their personal interpretations of texts, all the while encouraging the fact that there is no wrong answer in English, only poor justifications for answers.
