When she says she is going to do something she follows through and does it.

She is always true to her word. She cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. She is an amazing teacher and person. I feel comfortable talking to her about concerns or problems because I know she's there for me.

I have had the privilege of seeing Ms. Commean work with 100' of students. She has always given her student 100% of her time and talent. She is patient and understanding with students that need that extra little encouragement and time. She gives her students one on one help when needed. She has a friendly personality that students are drawn to, and has a way with making her subject both fun, interesting and important.

On a personal note, Ms. Commean taught my son for 3 years in high school. My son then went on to continue taking ASL for 3 more years in college. She instilled in him a love for the ASL language and culture.

She always took her time in helping us when ever we needed it. She is very patient and will work with you no matter what level or speed you are at. She is all around a awesome teacher
