About Marc
As a native French speaker in Quebec, I’m a communications and media professional with extensive experience working with people from different backgrounds and adapting complex ideas to different audiences. My lecturer position at the Université of Montréal also gave me the opportunity to develop different approaches. I’m passionate about communication and enjoy helping others build their confidence and skills in French. As a tutor, I take a personalized and practical approach, adapting each lesson to the learner’s level, goals and interests. My objective is to make learning French both effective and enjoyable.

Each lesson is adapted to the learner, but a typical session may include a short review of previous material, an introduction to a new concept or topic, guided practice, and conversational or practical exercises. Depending on the learner’s needs, we may focus more heavily on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, writing, reading or vocabulary. Each session concludes with feedback and, when appropriate, suggestions or exercises to continue practicing between lessons.
