About Clarence
Je suis étudiant en médecine et passionné par les sports outdoor et les environnements naturels. Je pratique notamment le parapente et la plongée, et j’aime particulièrement comprendre les aspects scientifiques et techniques qui permettent de mieux préparer et analyser une activité.
I am a medical student with a strong interest in outdoor sports and natural environments. I practice paragliding and scuba diving, and I particularly enjoy understanding the scientific and technical aspects behind these activities and applying them to preparation and decision-making.
Mon expérience & mon approche
J’ai progressé rapidement en parapente grâce à une approche à la fois instinctive et très théorique. J’ai naturellement développé une bonne lecture du vol et des conditions, que j’ai ensuite renforcée par un travail approfondi sur la météorologie, l’aérologie, la mécanique du vol et la sécurité. Cette combinaison entre intuition, observation et compréhension théorique constitue aujourd’hui le cœur de mon approche : comprendre pourquoi une situation se présente, plutôt que simplement apprendre à y réagir.
Je suis particulièrement attentif à la préparation, à l’analyse des conditions et à la prise de décision, avec une approche sérieuse et progressive de la sécurité. Mon objectif est de transmettre non seulement des connaissances, mais surtout une méthode permettant au pilote de développer progressivement son propre raisonnement et son autonomie.
My experience & teaching approach
I progressed quickly in paragliding through a combination of instinctive learning and extensive theoretical study. I naturally developed a good feel for flying and reading conditions, which I then reinforced through in-depth work on meteorology, aerology, flight mechanics and safety. This combination of intuition, observation and theoretical understanding is at the core of my approach: understanding why a situation develops rather than simply learning how to react to it.
I place particular emphasis on flight preparation, conditions analysis and decision-making, with a serious and progressive approach to safety. My goal is not only to share knowledge, but to help pilots develop their own reasoning and gradually become more autonomous
