About Jax
Jax Coopersmith is a saxophone artist, producer, and event curator in the NYC music community. A recent graduate from NYU, Jax leads his band "The Jax Experience," blending jazz fusion, hip-hop, and j-pop styles into new stories and a unique live experience. In 2025, Jax and “The Jax Experience” opened for Grammy award winner Samara Joy, and was featured in Billboard Magazine. His debut record “Swingin’ At The Sax Shop,” featuring rising rap artist Nory, was on the 2025-2026 Grammy Awards ballot. Jax continues to push the boundaries of music with his unique sound, raw energy, and passion for music and community.
