About Enoch
I'm a professional audio engineer and music producer based in New York City, holding a Master of Music in Music Technology from NYU — where my thesis focused on immersive mixing and spatial audio for film scoring in Dolby Atmos. My background combines rigorous academic training with hands-on studio experience across three countries.
I've engineered sessions at BlueFrog Recording Studio in NYC, worked as a recording engineer and studio assistant at NYU, and worked at Gramola Records in Vienna — Austria's largest classical label — as well as Mega Force Studio in Taipei, where I worked alongside top Mandopop artists including Sodagreen and Rachel Liang. Across these roles I've handled full recording, mixing, and mastering workflows, multitrack editing in Pro Tools and Logic Pro, spatial audio, dialogue editing with iZotope RX, and synchronized audio-for-video delivery.
My foundation as a trained classical violinist and musical theater performer also means I bring genuine musicality — not just technical knowledge — to every production context. I understand music deeply, not just the tools used to record it.
I tutor all levels, from complete beginners exploring their first DAW to intermediate producers looking to level up their mixing or break into film scoring and post-production.

Lessons are entirely hands-on and tailored to what you actually want to achieve — whether that's making beats, recording your own music, mixing a track, or building a career in audio.
Beginners start with DAW fundamentals: setting up a session in Pro Tools or Logic Pro, understanding signal flow, basic recording, and getting your first track sounding clean and professional.
Intermediate producers work on mixing techniques — EQ, compression, reverb, spatial processing — as well as arrangement, sound design, and plugin workflows. We can also cover music theory for production, sampling, and MIDI programming.
Advanced students can explore immersive audio and Dolby Atmos mixing, film scoring and audio-for-video workflows, dialogue editing and post-production with iZotope RX, and professional session management and delivery standards used in commercial studios.
I work around your DAW and your projects — bring me your music and we'll improve it together in real time. Sessions are available in person in NYC or online worldwide via screen-share.
I'm fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and can also accommodate students in Spanish, French, or German.
