About Alyssa
I am a second year nursing student attending Arizona State University. I have excelled in math throughout school. Taking math classes all the way up to calculus and statistics. While I am able to adjust to every students unique needs, I do especially well with students who use mental math but struggle to put in on paper. Throughout the years I have been in school I always maintained high grades and created a foundation for myself to excel that I want to pass onto current students.

As someone who excelled in mental math I have created various strategies to help students like me put the pen to the paper. A typical session with me would include review of materials, working through homework problems, preparation for upcoming units, and test preparation. My lessons are designed specifically and uniquely for each student to help them excel. Lessons are intended for elementary school, middle school, and early high school math students.
