About Brooke
I’m a nursing student with a strong academic background in math and science and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. My education has required me to develop strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and study skills, which I bring into every tutoring session. I’m patient, dependable, encouraging, and understand that every student learns differently.
I believe students perform their best when they feel comfortable asking questions without judgment. Whether a student is struggling with math, preparing for the SAT or ACT, or simply wants to get ahead, I aim to make challenging material feel less intimidating and more manageable. My goal is for students to leave each session understanding not just the answer, but how and why they got there.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized to each student’s learning style. As a nursing student with a strong background in math and science, I understand how important it is to learn the reasoning behind a problem rather than simply memorize formulas. I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and work through practice problems until the student feels confident solving them independently.
I tutor Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, general mathematics, and SAT/ACT math preparation. Lessons can focus on homework help, test preparation, reviewing difficult concepts, catching up in class, or getting ahead. I adjust the pace to each student and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students become more confident and independent in math.
