About Meredith
I have been an English tutor for 5 years (started freshman year of high school) and I have tutored 20 students over this time, 5 of which are now English majors. I am a nursing major, but I have found it has helped me become a better tutor in the long run by increasing my knowledge in latin roots and my vocabulary so I can better help those with vocabulary quizzes and such.

The first thing I do is have students list their strengths and weaknesses, in their opinion, so I can connect them so they can feel more confident in their work, and can apply different strategies in more than just one subject. I create quizzes to test the content that they need help with, and I try to do so by making it fun and a learning experience.
