About Tara
I am a dedicated nursing professional with almost 15 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in critical care, with an MSN in nursing education. Having spent years in the fast-paced environment of the ICU, I honed my expertise in acute patient care, crisis management, and advanced clinical practices. In addition to bedside nursing, I have served in leadership roles, both unit-based and hospital-wide, guiding teams with a focus on patient-centered quality care and professional development. I am a clinical nursing educator for student nurses and also work as a hospital nursing transition specialist, focusing on new nurse education as they transition into their professional role. As a nursing educator and mentor, I am passionate about shaping the next generation of nurses, fostering both clinical excellence and compassionate care.
