About Mery
I started teaching English to professional adults in October 2013. I have worked with over 10 different groups. I gave private lessons to young learners: 2 sisters preparing for the title TOEFL to achieve better professional prospects and 1 high school student who brought his little sister so she also practiced speaking with me. Through the internet I had more than 5 students, we used magazine articles (Ingelligent Life UK), The Guardian´s One Stop English worksheets.
Also a series of podcasts (PieTeam, BBC, A Way With Words, BussPod...).
Whatever format you like, we try!!

My name is María (well, Mary), and I just returned from Oxford after the CELTA diploma, which is a title for official faculty of the University of Cambridge. I have over 4 years with groups of adults, young adults, academy and private one-to-one lessons and training exams such as TOEFL or FIRST. I like to use your favorite movies, your favorite series, your favorite music, magazines, novels, newspapers.... but mostly I like to speak English, much English WHO SAID FEAR??!! I will be able to have classes here (my home, just moved in, little messy!) and there (yours / yours) and I can give online classes through Skype and telephone to practice speaking! Are you ready? You bet I am !!
