About Sarah
Spanish became genuinely important to me during graduate study, where deep engagement with the language's structure shaped how thoroughly I understand it today. That academic grounding later combined with real teaching experience, showing me how differently theory and practical use actually connect. Teaching university students alongside working professionals means adjusting pace and material constantly, since their goals rarely overlap completely. I never apply one fixed method across both groups, tailoring lessons instead to genuine, individual need. What I find most rewarding is watching a professional finally handle a real workplace conversation in Spanish without mentally translating first. That practical shift toward natural thinking is exactly why I keep teaching this way.
I stay engaged with Spanish personally, through reading, research and ongoing conversation with native speakers.
