About Suzy
I re-wrote my life story of ‘single-mum overnight with three very young children’, into becoming ‘the creator of the UK’s first ever divorce fair’ - gaining international media attention. I turned being chronically shy into performing a TEDx. From giving birth on a houseboat without pain relief, to living in my garden shed. Because I like the way the moonlight beams through the skylight at night.
A Nicholl Fellowship Semi-Finalist and Stowe and Nostos alumni, my first short film received many accolades including an Honourable Mention at the London International Film Festival. Another short film won best fantasy category at the New York Movie Awards. My immersive audio drama has been nominated for two awards at the New Jersey Web Fest.
My supernatural thriller has been optioned and is in development with a UK production company.
I provide a script doctor service, completed a Screenwriting Masters and have studied a practice-led PhD reinventing cinematic horror into sonic-cinema at Goldsmiths. My screenwriting slate includes three low budget features, all told through my unique lens on the world, and two pilots for continuing episodic series. Also immersive binaural audio dramas.

Travel costs are £25 within a 20 minute radius of an agreed meeting place.
As an example of a 5 hour block for help with a short film (max. 20 pages) :
Free 30 mins call
After sending me any beat sheets/treatments or notes of any kind, or an existing draft, I shall review all that (30mins) and then we will have a 45 mins zoom to discuss. (running total 1hr, 15mins)
I will review and provide notes on the beat sheet / treatment / pitchdeck / screenplay draft up to 45mins of my time to support your process. (running total 2hrs)
I will request that you work on an outline/first draft, 1 pager etc - what ever is the next stage of your progress - then I shall review this work and send you notes (1hr, 30 mins) (running total 3hrs 30 mins)
Notes on revised draft (or the stage that you are at) (30mins) and a zoom discussion for 45mins. (running total 5 hrs).
The 5 hour fee works out at a lesser hourly rate.
The 10 hour block is more suitable for someone who wants to work more slowly and have more zoom support, or if they are developing a feature film in it's early stages.
