About Niall
I am a full-time cancer researcher, having obtained my PhD in Cancer & Genomic Sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2018 and a BSc in Molecular Biology (First Class Honours) from the University of Manchester in 2013.
I have over 7 years of experience in facilitating others to reach their learning goals, firstly as a 'Peer-Assisted Study Scheme' leader and Student Mentor at the University of Manchester, and more recently as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Birmingham. I can also help students with their UCAS applications.
My expertise spans all areas of Biology to full degree level, and Chemistry to first-year undergraduate level.

I start by listening to the student’s specific needs and work with them to identify the most important areas for improvement
I use a range of learning materials and approaches tailored to each student to build the knowledge and confidence to allow them to succeed in the exam hall.
As such, my approach is flexible and can be shaped around each individual’s specific requirements.
