About Stephanie
I am a woodwind musician (clarinet, saxophone, and flute) who currently is a teaching artist online and in New York City. I have training and performance history in commercial music, Jazz, and Classical. I taught privately throughout central Indiana for the last 6 years. I earned two degrees in Music Education and Music Performance from Ball State University.

I base my teaching off of a combination of social-emotional learning, culturally responsive pedagogy, and a sound before sight musical approach. My goal is that each of my students leaves their lessons excited and informed in their area of study as well as feeling cared for and listened to.
