About Zain
Hello! I'm Zain, and I speak English, French, German, Urdu, and I am learning Japanese and Arabic. Languages are a big passion of mine as I really value being able to communicate with different groups of people.
I've been to france a number of times and can attest to my ability to communicate without issue. If you struggle with communication in general, don't worry! I see myself as quite easy to talk to, and I hope we can build up your speaking skills over time.
I study neuroscience at a top university, and thus am familiar with breaking down large subject matters into more digestible and workable pieces, which translates well into learning something as all-encompassing as a language.
I have informally tutoured students in french and other subjects in the past, and while I have no qualifications in teaching I am comfortable teaching.

At the beginning of our first session, we will break down what you want to get out of tutoring and create a plan based on your strengths and weaknesses in the language. This ranges from oral expression to reading comprehension.
This will extend into regular progression checks along these constructed parameters, as well as continuous conversational practice and short story recommendations. I believe that immersion is an incredible way in building fluency, and media consumption is an enjoyable way to achieve that.
Lessons will range from half an hour to 45 minutes, flexible with regards to your specific needs.
As an undergraduate student myself, I would feel best equipped to tutor someone of a high-school/college age, or level-equivalent. However, I have little reservations building a rapport with someone of any age.
