• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  Yes, I am fluent in this language (Russian and Ukrainian) because I was born in a country where it is used. My background allowed me to become familiar with it from an early age, inspiring me to deepen my knowledge and share it with others. I have been living in Poland for 10 years, where I graduated from a university with a major in Business Languages (Russian and English). I have also completed studies in International Relations and Economics in Poland, which has made my knowledge of the Polish language at a very high level. Additionally, I work as a translator, collaborating with the Border Guard Department in Opole, the Center for Foreigners' Integration, and many companies in Poland and abroad.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  Regarding the Ukrainian language: Taras Shevchenko is one of the most important and symbolic figures in Ukrainian culture.
  
  
  Taras Shevchenko was a Ukrainian poet, painter, and writer who played a significant role in the development of Ukrainian literature and culture. His works had a profound impact on national identity and the struggle for Ukraine's independence.
  
  
  As a romantic poet, Shevchenko often celebrated the beauty of his native Ukraine, its people, and history. However, he did not shy away from addressing difficult topics such as oppression and injustice faced by the peasantry. This made him a voice for those who suffered and desired change.
  
  
  His poetry greatly influenced the shaping of national consciousness and the spirit of fighting for freedom. Many Ukrainians consider him a national hero and a symbol of patriotism.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  The word that particularly resonates with me in the Ukrainian language is "love" - in this language, it feels even more magical and filled with emotions.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  Speaking this language is of immense importance to me as it allows me not only to communicate with others but also to understand and experience different cultures (people from other countries, regions, etc.), which is incredibly valuable to me.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  The main difficulty in learning this language may be its complex grammar. However, regular practice, dedication, and dialogue with native speakers will certainly help in mastering those structures, which are similar to the Polish language (especially in border regions).

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  I'm not much of an anecdote person, but I can certainly explain why I am thrilled to know the Ukrainian language. I absolutely enjoy watching TV shows like "TOP model" and travel show, and I must say that Ukrainian shows are the finest in the world. They are incredibly funny, brimming with energy, and they always manage to make me laugh wholeheartedly. Thanks to Ukrainian shows, I can explore new and captivating content that feels like a delightful and even better version of an anecdote. I am always eagerly awaiting the next episode or chapter.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  During my childhood in a country where the Ukrainian language is used, I met incredible individuals whose stories made me feel even more love and respect for this language. I Often traveled around Ukraine with my parents and loved exploring new cities, as well as revisiting those I had been to before. Traveling was key to improving my language skills. Interacting with local residents and listening to their speech helped me understand the diversity of accents and dialects.

• What makes you a Superprof in language?

  I am a Super Language Teacher by true vocation. My passion for imparting knowledge and inspiring my students to learn the language makes every lesson not just work but a fulfillment of dreams. Over the years, I have gained experience by working in many language schools since 2015. However, in 2021, I fulfilled my dream and established my own language school, which allows me even greater freedom in creating personalized teaching programs.
  
  
  I love my students, and I am delighted that we often maintain our friendship after completing their studies. We go for coffee together, exchange experiences, and discuss various topics, making our relationship unique and close.
  
  
  My passion for languages is not limited to my work but extends into my personal life. I am constantly learning new languages and travel extensively around the world, which allows me to improve my language skills. I am currently fluent in 4 languages at a very high level, making me a true language enthusiast.
