About Kevo
Jambo, I am Kevo from Nakuru, Kenya. I am a native Swahili speaker, I grew up speaking Swahili at home and in school. I am a friendly, patient and talkative person who loves meeting people from different countries. I want to teach Swahili because I love my language and I want to help visitors feel at home in Kenya and Tanzania. I love sharing Kenyan culture, stories and everyday life. I am always online on WhatsApp to help my students. My dream is to help 1000 people speak Swahili. Karibu sana, let's be friends!

About the lesson

My teaching is 100% conversation and practical. I don't use boring grammar books. I teach you how Kenyans really speak in the street, at home and at work.
My techniques:
- Learn by speaking from day one
- Use real life situations, role play and pictures
- I correct you gently and give you small homework on WhatsApp
Lesson length: 1 hour, but we can do 30 minutes if you are busy.
Qualifications: I am a native Swahili speaker from Nakuru with 3 years helping friends and visitors learn Swahili. I am patient, friendly and I love teaching.
My lessons are for complete beginners, travelers, volunteers, NGO workers, kids above 10 years and adults who want to speak Swahili confidently.
