About Stephen
I am a California teacher with studies in English literature and a TESOL degree with 17 years of experience in teaching communicative, academic and corporate English. In my professional career I have taught in academies and in the largest multinational companies and Spanish national companies. I have a proven track record of helping my students succeed on official exams such as TOEFL, Cambridge PET / FCE / CAE, having taught over 2000 hours of classes with this approach, in addition to being a certified IELTS examiner.

I teach at all levels, from A1 beginner to C2 mastery. My classes are designed to fit my student's needs. If you need to practice speaking in English for work, we'll focus on that. If you need to write better emails, reports or white papers, we'll focus on that. If you want to prepare for an official exam or study and improve grammar, or be better able to understand and participate effectively in business meetings, or just want to practice because you like to travel abroad or would like to watch movies in English, we will focus on those things. . The teaching method is based on the concepts of the communicative method (Communicative Approach / Communicative Language Teaching), which focuses mainly on improving oral expression, while developing all the other necessary listening, reading, writing, and grammar skills. and the acquisition of vocabulary.

Details
I teach classes at all levels regardless of price. I teach private classes (one-to-one) or to groups. The base of one hour of class is € 20 per hour. With each student add € 2 to the base. A student for one hour of class will be € 20. Two students will be € 22 euros an hour and three students € 24, etc. So it is cheaper for everyone if there are more students to share the price. The price is negotiable only in cases where long distances are not required. For example, I meet one of my students at the end of the day in a quiet cafeteria that is 5 a minute walk from my house. I charge €18 for that class because it is the last class of the day and it is in my area, two blocks from my house. I HAVE LIMITED AVAILABILITY I am available approximately: Monday from 11: 00-12: 30 and 16: 30-18: 00 Tuesday and Thursday from 9: 30-12: 30 and 16: 30-18: 00 Wednesday from 11: 00-12 : 30 and 16: 30-20: 00 Friday from 9: 00-12: 30 and 15: 30-17: 30 Thank you!
