About Michi
I am a native Spanish speaker offering lessons in Derby. I have been teaching English to kids and adults for a year before coming to the UK and worked with Nursery and Primary School children as part of my University project. I have a degree in Business and Administration.

I teach all levels and all ages. Flexible schedule :) My teaching method is to adapt the classes to the needs and level of each student. Once the student has an established level, I teach the classes from the beginning to the end completely in Spanish, so that the person can learn as much as possible and develop listening and speaking skills. Classes are based on grammar, speaking, writing and listening always using a recognised curriculum. For children, it is important to study with worksheets, songs, games and fun tools.

Perfect! Friendly, helpful & well prepared for lesson.
Perfect! Michi is an excellent tutor! I'm not the quickest learner, but Michi has been really patient with our lessons and has adjusted the content dynamically as my Spanish has progressed. The lessons have been relaxed and fun and I've really enjoyed them. Michi is a very accomplished tutor for all levels, highly recommended!!
Perfect! Made me feel relaxed during the lesson and had no problem quickly establishing my level of Spanish and my expectations. Michi understood how I approach the Spanish language and what works for me. She has also adapted our lessons to learning Spanish (Spain) and not necessarily South American Spanish, which I think is very helpful. Really pleased with the initial lesson.
