"Sometimes learning a language feels like trying to assemble a puzzle where the pieces are constantly shifting. I admit that I often prioritize the soul of the language over mere textbook grammar. We explore reading comprehension and everyday phrases to ensure you can handle real world scenarios.
I provide free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes so you have a roadmap between our meetings. Whether you are prepping for a move or polishing your conversational fluency, we go slow enough to build a solid foundation. My background in music helps me teach accent and intonation with a precision that many other tutors miss.
The goal is always to make the language feel like a natural part of your life. We continue at your pace until the words just flow."

"Spanish is often taught as a rigid set of rules, yet it exists most vibrantly in the rhythm of daily conversation. My own history as a native speaker with a music degree means I view language through the lens of cadence, intonation, and cultural context. Over 11 years of teaching, I have learned that the best way to grasp idioms is to engage with the stories behind them. I guide adults through the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants with an ear for the subtle shifts in meaning.
My teaching style honors the traditions I was raised in while providing modern tools for immigration or travel. I have assisted many students in navigating the nuances of business Spanish and interview preparation. There is something truly enjoyable about watching a student finally move from hesitant phrases to fluid, confident speech."
