About Joan
I am an outgoing and approachable Spanish and Philosophy teacher with seven year`s experience of teaching a wide range of students.
I am a native Spanish speaker, trained at Cervantes Institute London, and have successfully taught this language to teenagers and adults (in secondary schools and in language schools). I am experienced at planning and delivering year-long courses as well as intensive courses.
I hold a five-year degree in Philosophy and have taught this subject in secondary schools for four years with excellent results.

I can very much adapt to your needs, whether you need a bit of help getting ready for your GCSE or A-levels exams or just casually want to learn some Spanish so you can order your tapas with confidence when you go on holidays. I'm also very happy to do group lessons.
With Philosophy, I can help you if you are struggling with this at A-levels or university or I can introduce you to this fascinating subject if you've always been curious but never known where to start.
