About Rano
I am a native Russian speaker, who has lived in the UK for the past 27 years and has a good grasp of both Russian and English. I have translated a number of books from Russian, ranging from prose (novels) to poetry and I have always delighted in making Russian literature accessible to English-speaking audiences.
I am looking forward to teaching, in order to help others to get to grips with the wonderfully rich language that Russian is.
Knowing this language will help you access a wonderful heritage of world-class literature and build connections with not only Russia but a number of diverse cultures from Russian-speaking countries of the former Soviet Union, for your enjoyment
