About Mia
Hello! I am a native Mandarin speaker currently studying a Master of Laws at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law and hold a Chinese legal professional qualification certificate.
I also have private tutoring experience since my university years. I enjoy helping students learn Chinese in a relaxed and engaging environment. My Mandarin pronunciation is certified (Level 2A), so I can help students improve clear and accurate pronunciation.
I am patient, friendly, and passionate about teaching. I believe learning a language should be interesting and interactive, and I always try to make my lessons enjoyable while helping students build confidence in speaking Chinese.

I have been working as a private tutor since my university years and have experience helping students learn in a relaxed and engaging way. My teaching style is interactive and flexible, and I always adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals.
As a native Mandarin speaker with a certified Mandarin pronunciation level, I can help students improve their speaking, listening, and pronunciation skills. My lessons focus on practical communication so students can confidently use Chinese in real-life situations.
I teach students of different levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners. I can also help with Chinese conversation practice, HSK preparation, and pronunciation improvement.
