About Wayne
My name is Wayne Lin, and I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with a deep passion for teaching and cultural exchange. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minor in Education and have over three years of teaching experience as a Teacher Assistant at Seattle Chinese School, where I worked with students of different ages and levels.
I believe that learning a language should feel encouraging, practical, and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on building confidence while helping students understand not only the language, but also the culture behind it.
Having grown up in Taiwan and studied in the United States, I understand the challenges language learners face and how to explain Chinese in a clear and simple way. I am committed to helping every student reach their goals and feel comfortable using Mandarin in real life.
