About Victoria
As a native Korean speaker and a student at the University of British Columbia (UBC), I bring both academic training and real-life language experience into my lessons. I have been recognized with multiple awards for Korean writing, which allows me to confidently support students not only in speaking and listening, but also in structured and personalized writing guidance.
My goal is to help students gain real confidence in using Korean while ensuring every lesson is well-prepared, engaging, and aligned with their individual needs.

As a tutor, I create a comfortable, supportive learning environment where students feel confident using Korean without fear of making mistakes. I also try to create an engaging learning environment by using each student’s personal interests, such as their favorite K-pop singers, Korean dramas, movies, or topics they enjoy. By incorporating these into lessons, students stay more motivated and naturally improve their Korean without feeling pressured.
As a native Korean speaker and a UBC student studying Korean and journalism, I combine academic knowledge with real, everyday Korean used in conversations.
I believe language learning works best when lessons are personalized, so I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s level, goals, and learning pace.
