About Lavinia
Ciao! My name is Lavinia, I’m a native Italian speaker now based in Australia. I graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, which gave me a strong foundation in English and a deep appreciation for international education. I have lived and worked across several countries, including Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Australia. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how powerful language is in connecting people and cultures — and this is why I love teaching Italian. My goal is to help you learn to think and communicate naturally in Italian, not just memorize words. Whether you’re a beginner or want to refine your conversational skills, I’ll tailor each lesson to your level, interests, and learning style. My approach is friendly, structured, and flexible, combining grammar, pronunciation, and authentic everyday expressions. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, which helps me explain grammar clearly and make learning easier for multilingual students. Most of all, I want my students to feel motivated, supported, and confident — because learning a new language should be enjoyable and rewarding!

Lessons can be anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes.
