About Amelia
I'm a native Italian speaker. I grew up and went to school in Italy, where I completed a classical diploma covering Italian, Latin and Ancient Greek, before moving to the UK to study philosophy and psychology. I now work as a business psychologist. I'm also a qualified coach, so I'm used to helping people build confidence at their own pace, which matters when speaking a new language feels daunting.

Lessons are conversation-based and built around what you want to use Italian for, whether that's travel, family, work, or simply enjoying the language.
Beginners build up the essentials step by step. Improvers focus on speaking with confidence, understanding everyday Italian as people actually speak it, and ironing out recurring mistakes.
I explain grammar clearly when it helps, but the focus stays on using the language rather than working through a textbook.
Lessons take place online by video call, or in person around Bath and Chippenham.
