About Gabriele
Hi! I am Gabriele, or Ella for short, and have just recently moved to Galway. I spent the first 19 years of my life in the south of Germany. I started tutoring for younger students at my school and quickly came to enjoy it, so I started also giving individual lessons outside of school.
My experience has taught me how to explain one thing in a dozen different ways - and that you always know more than you think you do.

After giving individual and group lessons to German teenagers for four years, I have found a practical approach to learning to be the most effective. I center my lessons around the personal interests of my students to let them develop a feel for the language before diving into grammar. I like working with short texts that, again, relate to my student's interests.
I have an excellent understanding of my native tongue, including its grammatical structures. While I have so far only worked with students up to the age of 18, thanks to my individual approach I am perfectly capable of adapting my lessons to adults as well.
My lessons typically are an hour long, structured around my student's individual goals.
