About Zoe
I'm a friendly and patient tutor who genuinely enjoys helping others learn. Back home, I tutor English at my school, so I know what it's like to support a student through the ups and downs of learning a new language, the small breakthroughs, the frustrating plateaus, and everything in between. I like to keep lessons relaxed and encouraging, so you never feel embarrassed about mistakes; they're just part of learning. I'm reliable, organized, and always show up prepared, but I also like to keep things light and fun so lessons never feel like a chore. As a native German speaker on exchange in Canada, I teach real, natural German, not just textbook phrases. Lessons usually start with a quick review, move into a focused topic like grammar or vocabulary, and end with conversation practice so you can actually use what you learn. I work with all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students, and I adjust each lesson to what you need, whether that's building confidence to speak, improving grammar, or just having regular conversation practice. Sessions are relaxed, patient, and focused on real progress.
