About Estelle
I am a freelance French tutor and a researcher in political science working in the think tank industry. In parallel to my BA in International Relations from Boston University and my MSc in Comparative Politics from LSE, I have been tutoring French to children and adults at various levels of proficiency (both French natives and English-speaking learners) for over five years both independently and as part of tutoring organizations in Boston, Washington D.C., London and Paris.

My teaching methods are inspired from my academic and personal experiences. As a passionate student and researcher, I place organization and rigor at the heart of my teaching. It is essential to set goals and keep track of my students' progress.
As I have learned English and Spanish myself, I know what it takes to learn a foreign language and make sure that empathy and patience are constant feelings present in the 'classroom'. It is truly essential for me to praise my students when they succeed while understanding if they don't. Since teaching French for me is a passion to me, I want the experience to be fun, relaxing and enriching.
Finally, my experience growing up in a small town in the South of France and my degrees in social sciences have equipped me well to create rich spaces of exchanges around culture, politics and history for students whose level allows them to have conversations in French.
