About Youssef
Hi! I’m Youssef — a certified and native French tutor with over 5 years of international experience teaching students, professionals and language enthusiasts across different countries.
I studied Political Science in Montreal and Art in France, and I’ve built a career that combines two strong passions: education and artistic creation.
Alongside my work as a theatre director, teaching French has become a meaningful part of my life. For me, language learning is not just about grammar — it’s about opening a space for culture, thinking, creativity and expression.
I’ve taught French in universities, schools, companies and cultural institutions. I work with beginners, intermediate learners, advanced speakers, expatriates, and students preparing for exams.

In addition to private lessons, I also offer group conversation classes. I form groups of students with similar levels so they can interact with one another while I actively guide and correct the exchanges.
This format is a great complement to individual work: it helps develop essential skills such as active listening, spontaneous expression, and natural interaction with other French speakers or enthusiasts. It’s an excellent way to reinforce what’s been learned, build confidence, and practice French in a more dynamic, collective setting.
