About Yohann
I am a 28-year-old student from UCLA Extension originally from Côte d'Ivoire, a French-speaking country. As a native French speaker in the United States, I have had the opportunity to tutor French while at Grossmont College in San Diego, CA, and also helped explain grammar rules in French classes at the same college. As a tutor, I like to share my knowledge with the goal of improving my students' aptitudes in the areas of their needs. I am excited to work with you and help you on your French learning journey.

As a tutor, I like to discuss and understand my students' motivation to learn French. Depending on their specific needs for all kind of levels, we will proceed with the lessons. In my opinion, the most efficient way to learn a new language while not being in the said-country is to speak and hear it frequently. Therefore, my classes are entirely conducted in French, no matter the level of the student. This presents a great challenge and learning opportunity, in addition to the grammar, vocabulary, writing, and reading activities conducted during the lesson.
I also like to adapt classes on subjects that are points of interest for the students, to give more involvement and relevance to our learning.
