About John
I'm a native Spanish and French speaker, a C2-level English speaker, and a full-on language nerd in the best possible way. I've always been fascinated by how languages work — the little patterns, the sounds, the quirks — and how they help us connect, express, and understand each other better.
Teaching French is my way of sharing that love. I don't just teach grammar and vocab (although we'll definitely get into that!) — I want to help you see the beauty of the language, feel confident using it, and actually enjoy the process.
For me, learning and teaching languages isn't just about speaking; it's about curiosity, connection, and having fun with the way we communicate. If you feel the same — or even if you don't yet — you're in the right place.

Hello there!
I'm a native French speaker and a linguist, which means I know all the grammar secrets and how to make them make sense. My classes are for adults who want to use everyday French as well as for people who need to pass a French exam.
Whether you're starting from “bonjour” or already debating cheese politics in French, I've got a class for you. We'll chat, laugh, mess up, learn, and get better — all at your pace.
What my classes are like:
Super interactive — we talk a lot (yes, even at beginner level!)
Real-life vocab and cultural stuff (TV, slang, food, music, all the good things)
Clear grammar tips
Customized to your level + goals

John is one of the most patient and empathetic language lovers I've ever met ! He will sit down with you, follow your pace and figure out a way for you to progress. Beyond his linguistics-focused academic training, he burns off a deep love for communication.
I have improved a lot my French with John! He is a very patient, supportive and responsible teacher! Starting from a French beginner who was struggling to make full sentences, I can now make daily conversations in French rather fluently thanks to John! Totally recommended!!
