About Louise
I have taught French to 5th and 6th graders for 1 semester, and I am currently volunteering at the languages learning hub at the University of Limerick.
I am a French postgraduate student at the University of Limerick, in the MSc Applied Physics. I am currently studying physics and engineering, but I had French and philosophy classes until my second year of graduate school. French is my native language and I have always had excellent grades and remarks in this subject, from my high school years to the engineering school entrance exams. I've also received the first regional prize at the National Resistance and Deportation Competition, which is a writing and knowledge competition on a historical subject. Finally, I also have a great interest in French culture, whether it is historical, artistic or musical. I like to read or listen to podcasts on different subjects, so I could recommend some to students according to their personal tastes.
I like being in contact with people and helping them, and I also love the French language and culture, so I am very motivated to run this kind of workshop.

I will adapt to your needs. The duration of the lessons is variable depending on your time, and they can be held online or in person.
The idea is not to organise real grammar or spelling lessons (unless that's what you want !) but to have a playful exchange of ideas to use the theoretical notions you have seen in class.
I can suggest a new topic each session and we will discuss it. I will teach you new vocabulary, correct your syntax if necessary, and introduce you to a new aspect of French culture each time. Finally, I will give you titles of books, films or podcats to take you further if you like the subject!
We can also focus on a specific task: writing a cover letter, understanding a lesson, reviewing a time... I can do anything, just ask!
