About Paul
Bonjour, My name is Paul. I am a native French speaker from Paris and a freshman at Iowa State University.
I lived in Paris for 18 years and completed all my education before college in the French school system. I earned the French Baccalaureat with honors, giving me a strong foundation in formal written and spoken French as well as firsthand knowledge of French culture and education.
As a native speaker, I can help students develop natural pronunciation, practical vocabulary, and an understanding of how French is actually spoken. I know that learning a language can feel intimidating, so I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes.
Whether you need help with French class, want to improve your conversational confidence, or are preparing for travel, I will adapt our sessions to your goals and learning style.

Lessons are available online or in person at a public location on the Iowa State campus. Small group sessions are also available.
