About Emma

I am a postgraduate student in Linguistic studies with a background in Interpreting and Translation. I am specialized in the French and English language pair. Being originally from Martinique, I have lived in the UK for 10 years and learnt to acquired fluency in English from the age of 14 years old through blood, sweat and tears. Hopefully, sharing my experience should help you gain the confidence to learn French.

About the lesson

My teaching method is only based on your needs and what you are looking to achieve. It may be for academic reasons (for an upcoming exam and you are feeling stressed), personal reasons (perhaps you are planning a trip or you are trying to impress someone), or just out of plain curiosity. From the first couple of classes, we will assess your level (beginner, intermediate, or fluent) and agree on how we could achieve a set of goals.
