Hello! I'm Steve, an English teacher with 23 years of experience teaching students across Asia. I have taught learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students. I hold a TEFL qualification, a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education specialising in digital education. I am also currently completing my Master's degree.
Throughout my career, I have worked at numerous private language schools, private education institutions, and higher education academies. I have also delivered corporate training programmes for companies and business professionals, helping learners develop their communication skills for the workplace. In addition, I have conducted thousands of hours of online English lessons with students from a wide range of countries and backgrounds.
My lessons are usually 90 minutes long and are designed around your goals and needs. I believe students learn best by using English, not just studying grammar and vocabulary. In my lessons, you will have plenty of opportunities to speak, write, and practise English in real-life situations. I teach students of all ages and levels, whether they are learning English for school, work, travel, exams, or everyday communication.
Lessons can be conducted either online or in person. Online lessons are typically delivered via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar video conferencing platforms, providing a flexible and interactive learning experience.
My lessons are friendly, practical, and adapted to help you make steady progress while building your confidence in using English.

Lesson Fees
Online lessons: S$70 per hour.
Discounted rates are available for 5-hour and 10-hour lesson packages.
In-person lessons: S$85 per hour.
Lessons can be held at your residence or at a quiet public venue such as a café. Discounted rates are available for lessons of 90 minutes or longer. Please enquire for details.
A travel fee of S$10 applies for lessons held at your residence. Please note that due to travel time and scheduling constraints, I may not be able to travel to some locations. Please enquire to confirm availability for your area.
