About Katherine
Hello! I’m a native English speaker from Oxfordshire with a clear, neutral accent and a passion for helping people feel confident using English. I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology and a Trinity CertTESOL from St. Giles International and I’ve taught both adults and children, online and in person. I love teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people reach their goals and I value the social connection it brings. I'm patient, supportive and sensitive to the challenges of learning a second language; I live between the UK and Spain and speak intermediate Spanish myself. My lessons are student-centred, communicative and tailored to each learner’s goals and level. I focus on building confidence through speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary in real-life contexts. I use a mix of conversation, activities and structured materials depending on the student’s needs. Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and I teach all levels (A1–C2), adults and children. I’m a native English speaker with a BA in Psychology and a Trinity CertTESOL from St. Giles International, with experience teaching online and in person, both one-to-one and in groups.
