Perfect! I had six lessons of accent reduction with Marianne and it was enjoyable and very helpful. She was understanding, flexible, and encouraging, bringing exercises and also working around what I consider most challenging. I gained a lot of insight into sounds and the pronunciation of words, both individually and when joining them together. She also helped me understand and pay attention to jaw opening and the location of the tongue when articulating sounds in words. It’s great that I will continue to have access to the exercises so I can practise them in my own time and at my own pace. I highly recommend Marianne!

Perfect! As a native Russian speaker, I wanted to reduce my accent and develop a more RP-sounding English. Marianne and I worked through phonetics, stress patterns, rhythm, and intonation, from practising sounds in isolation and word linking to shadowing and reading poetry, learning how to be expressive in a more RP way. She has been very attentive and meticulous throughout, and it felt great to hear friends and colleagues say I started sounding more British.
