About Suzie
I have taught ESL for over five years with a large variety of students: from 3 years old to 60 years old, from beginner to professional translators. I have taught both privately and in afterschool classroom settings. I love to share my knowledge and will do my best to personalize each lesson to your learning needs!

I personalize my lessons to the student. For general English lessons, we will focus mainly on communication through speaking and listening, since written and reading practice can be assigned as homework. Throughout the conversation, I will be sure to point out tips for pronunciation, especially for words that would be confusing to a native English speaker if it is misspoken. Depending on the age of the student, I use games or articles to guide the topics of the lessons. Of course, if the student brings their own specific materials or topics they want to learn or discuss, I am more than happy to develop a lesson around that! I want to make sure you love learning English!
