About Marcus
I am a native speaker. I have been teaching English for a year. I learned English and Spanish at home as a child. I learned Arabic in University. I have lived abroad for a few years and spent time in areas where my language was not the common tongue. Because of this life experience combined with my teaching experience I feel like I have an understanding on what is necessary for you to achieve your English speaking goals.

I believe that constantly speaking and immersing yourself in English is the best way to learn English. Most of our lessons and exercises will be focused on you speaking English. The more you practice the better you will become. I use a wide variety of lessons that include grammar, speaking, writing, and reading exercises that cover a wide variety of topics. I teach exclusively in English. If we share a common language I will not respond in that language because I am a firm believer in doing everything in English.

I will tutor in TEOFL and IELTS exams but at the rate of $40 USD an hour.
Any sort of editing or review that you require outside of class will be billed at $20 USD an hour.
