About Gabrielle
I am originally from Sydney, Australia, but have been living in Germany since early 2018. I have already completed a Bachelor in International Studies with a focus on German Studies and am currently in the process of completing an English-language Master in International Relations. This means that I can also explain complex content in German (if necessary) or draw your attention to interesting comparisons between the two languages. I also have 4 years of tutoring experience with different age groups and backgrounds.

I love learning languages and I especially enjoy teaching other people English and deepening their existing knowledge through natural conversations. When we have our lessons, I will pay close attention to how you express yourself, alert you to any grammatical errors or mispronunciation, and make stylistic suggestions. We will discuss these things but also write them down somewhere (e.g. in a shared Google doc) so that you can always come back to it. This will help you a lot, regardless of whether you speak very well or are just beginning your journey with the English language. We will of course clarify what your goals are or what you want to focus on more and I will adapt mseylf to you. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people, talking about all sorts of topics, and most importantly: helping you improve your language and conversation skills!

Ich habe seit 6 Monaten Englischunterricht bei Gabrielle und es macht riesigen Spaß!! Nach dem erfolglosen Englischunterricht in der Schule habe ich mich jahrelang nicht getraut, ein einziges Wort auf Englisch zu sprechen und ich bin glücklich, dass ich nun Gabrielle als Lehrerin gefunden habe. Sie gestaltet den Unterricht abwechslungsreich, die Themen sind interessant und auf mich und mein Können abgestimmt. Sie kennt sich perfekt in der deutschen Sprache aus , so daß sie schwierige Themen auch auf Deutsch erklären kann. Gabrielle bereitet sich sehr gut auf den Unterricht vor und nimmt sich Zeit, Hausaufgaben zu korrigieren. Sie ist sehr sympathisch und umsichtig und ich habe überhaupt keine Sorge mehr, vor ihr zu sprechen!
